Is the Trump regime invading Venezuela and taking President Maduro and his wife hostage an international war crime? To me, it sure seems to be. I certainly see a small chorus of politicians making statements calling what the Trump Regime did here an “unlawful act” or “an illegal act of war”.I asked google “Is the U.S. military invading Venezuela and kidnapping their president and his wife a war crime?” Here is the answer:

There was whole lot of Trump calling Maduro a “narco-terrorist” that was trafficking “illicit drugs” into the US. We’ve never been presented with any sort of evidence that is the truth and Trump quickly went into why Venezuela was actually stealing oil from the US by selling their own oil. I can’t believe anyone would ever believe such a thing, but people are gullible.Trump and Hegseth went into detail about how “precise” and “awe-inspiring” the US military was when they invaded Caracas and kidnapped Nicholas Maduro and his wife from the bedroom. “Operation Absolute Resolve” is what they named this abomination.
When Trump was talking he brought up “The Monroe Doctrine” which is curious.

They gave Maria Corina Machado the Nobel Peace prize this last year and she has been a favorite of the war hawk fascists that run our government. In general she ran against Maduro before. There are people that claim she was who actually won the last election in Venezuela. I have never believed that. I know we’ve seen Maria Corina Machado in multiple interviews saying if the US would intervene and put her in power, she will give them absolutely anything they want and Trump mentioned her name multiple times during the press conference.I encourage everyone to see through the propaganda. The U.S. has put crushing sanctions on Venezuela, has attempted to overthrow their government numerous times. The U.S. has blown up numerous small boats killing dozens of people and never shown us any evidence those people have done anything wrong. The Biden and Trump regimes have been trying to take out Maduro since he re-nationalized their oil and starting sharing their oil profits with the people of Venezuela, which is something that always pisses the capitalist class in the U.S. off and in general the Maduro government is considered left-wing and we all know the US prefers right-wing dictators. Authoritarian dictators are the easiest to manipulate and in general, the easiest to do business with.
Time will tell what comes next, but watching our government brazenly commit war crimes and then hold press conferences where all they do is lie is always disheartening.
